Today Prof Claire Craig has been speaking about Lab4Living’s work at the National College of Art & Design in Dublin to an audience of leading healthcare professionals and designers. The Better Health by Design symposium aims to make the case for design in healthcare, to share inspirational collaborative projects and to demonstrate how to embed design at an organisational level.
One of three keynotes, Claire was invited to speak about ‘the case for design and health’. During her talk, she spoke about the wicked problem of health and healthcare, the strength of designing with people, problem framing as well as problem solving, and briefly on future technologies.
The symposium is one of a series of events to mark the opening of NCAD DesignLabs, a new interdisciplinary centre for creative, human-centred design research and practice based at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin.
