Associate Professor Michael Tan is one of 18 early career researchers who make up the first cohort of the GROW Researcher Development Programme in Summer 2022. The programme aims to nurture cross-disciplinary conversations in mental health.
GROW is the professional development programme developed by the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR), UK, to nurture researchers from various fields and disciplines, who are interested in mental health. Through the programme, participants will build a cross-disciplinary professional network to inspire and support them in 2022 and beyond, working together to explore the complexities inherent in mental health, and address intrenched inequalities in mental health
Michael’s interest in mental health literacy, creativity, and welling has gained him this invaluable opportunity to join the first cohort comprising of 18 participants selected from across England with a range of expertise, experience and interests.
