Prof Paul Chamberlain was invited to join the panel event at Retrofit 23 at London’s Building Centre this week where he shared insights on transforming homes to support the concept of a 100-year life. The Retrofit Wellbeing panel on 6 Sep delved into the realm of deep residential retrofitting and its impact on our wellbeing.

Retrofit 23 looks at how we achieve residential retrofitting at scale and focuses on how improving the performance of a home brings economic, social, and environmental benefits. It runs until 12 Oct 2023 at the Building Centre, 26 Store Street, London WC1E 7BT.

Leading the Retrofit Wellbeing discussion was Tim Crawshaw, an expert in urban design, master planning, and sustainable development. Other panelists were Dr. Rachna Lévêque, Senior Housing Innovation at Connected Places Catapult, unveiling innovative strategies for healthier and more resilient homes, and Connie Pidsley and Adam Dudley Mallick, Part 2 architecture students at the London School of Architecture, shedding light on their thought-provoking Healthy Homes Hub project.
