Lab4Living Cinema Club is a staff / student cultural networking group consisting of screening short films from all over the world on topics related to the research inquiries of the 100 year-life and the Future Home. The purpose of these events is to discover, reflect and debate together representations of health, ageing, human psychology and death through audio-visual media.
Researcher and artist Noémie Soula is curating and co-curating a series of screening sessions, each with a different theme. Screenings are informal events in the White Building, aimed at members of SHU staff and post-graduate students. Screenings are followed by a discussion.
Please contact Noémie Soula if you would like to join us at the next session, or if you are interested in co-curating a session. For those unable to attend, we provide details of the themes, films, and discussion points for you to explore yourself in your own time via streaming services (MUBI, BFI etc.).
